About Me

I am a young graphic designer who is passionate, self-driven, ambitious, and most importantly, curious. I like to emphasize curiosity as a trait, because it is what keeps me growing as a professional. It is what helps me thrive in unfamiliar challenges and what keeps me wanting to discover, develop my skills and enhance myself as a designer and, most importantly, as a person.

The person I am today is almost completely influenced by my family and friends, especially my best friend (and fiancé) Lindsay. They all have always encouraged me to do what I love, providing support along each and every one of my professional milestones.

In my spare time, I am either at the gym or playing with my dog, Gunner (who is the best dog on the planet). And yeah, yeah, yeah, I know . . . everyone says that about their dog, but this time it’s the truth! He’s awesome . . . and the best . . . just accept it. But I can also be found binge watching Netflix with Lindsay, sitting on the computer doing some sort of freelance work, or hanging out with my friends.

My Job

I have always strived to take the unbeaten path in life. So far it has taught me three things:

  1. There are always multiple ways to accomplish your goals.
  2. Experiencing things in a way you aren’t accustomed to teaches you a lot about yourself. More than you would think, actually.
  3. Self-awareness and being honest with yourself are the most important factors in learning lessons throughout your life.

I like to explain this because it is a big part of how I view things. Since having this realization, I have become more empathetic towards others, I try to be considerate towards all beliefs and perspectives in life, and it allows me to be open and honest with myself and others around me. This translates into why I love the career I have chosen, and the type of people it brings with it. All of my coworkers tend to have a similar thought process, and it allows for a constructive and beneficial working environment. A happy work environment makes it really easy to be collaborative and inspire each other to do great work, which then translates into leaving at the end of the day with pride and the feeling of accomplishment in our work.
