I love going on adventures. Road trips, new challenges, learning new skills, traveling, you name it! What I find after going on these adventures is that afterwards, my life is never the same again. One of my most recent adventures is the life I am creating with my soon-to-be husband, Isaac. Together, there’s nothing we can’t do. He’s been my favorite adventure buddy and I look forward to many more with him.
My hobbies are knitting, reading, photography, walking and keeping up with my latest TV shows. Right now I’m obsessed with the TV show This is Us which has been a real tear jerker. The things I love to do I tend to want to do with the people I love. My friends and family mean the world to me, and I owe my love of activities to them.
Since I was small I’ve been in love with the ability to create. I remember very distinctly building cardboard castles in our living room with my mom, drawing pictures with my new charcoal set and discovering the joy of picture taking. When I hit high school I tried my first graphic design class. That was it. I found what I wanted to do. I was 17 years old! Although it was just Photoshop at the time, I found the concept fascinating that I can manipulate pictures or illustrations into what I’m thinking. Through college, the courses I took provided me with much more insight into what I’m capable of. I took courses in several different areas, which gave me so much opportunity to figure out what I was most interested in. Now that I’m truly working in the field of design, there’s no looking back. I love it!
