Diamonds Direct Announces Exclusive Summer Designer Showcase in St. Louis


Diamonds Direct announced today its St. Louis Summer Designer Showcase, which will be held August 4, 5 and 6. The exclusive, in-store trunk show will offer guests an unbeatable savings of 20 percent on virtually all merchandise during these three days. The showcase will be held at 11619 Olive Blvd. in Creve Coeur.

During the event, guests will have the opportunity to meet with seven internationally renowned jewelry designers and shop their exclusive collections, including brands such as Christopher Designs, Verragio and Henri Daussi.

Guests will also have the opportunity to tour the showroom’s large selection of diamonds and speak with the store’s staff, who are highly educated in the diamond selection process and can help guests make an informed decision on the right diamond for them. Nominations Open for the 2017 Get to Know m.e. “People to Watch” Campaign: Nomination Deadline is Sept. 29


Get to know m.e., a regional campaign aimed at raising awareness of the Metro-East, announces a new opportunity to shine a spotlight on the region’s top-performing young professionals. Nominations are open for People to Watch 2017. The campaign seeks nominees who are outstanding leaders within and beyond the workplace. The ideal candidate is a mover and shaker who improves the community by sharing knowledge and talent.

Nominations may be submitted through the campaign website, www.get2knowthemetroeast.com. All entries must be submitted by Fri., Sept. 29, 2017. After submission, each nominee will be considered for selection as a “People to Watch 2017” by the Get to know m.e. committee members. Honorees will be notified in late October 2017. This campaign will shine a spotlight on young professionals who truly make a difference in our community.

KEEP Healthy Event Aug. 5 Offers Free Health Screens for All Ages and Back to School Items

Touchette Regional Hospital is proud to announce the KEEP Healthy Event on Aug. 5 that will serve as a back-to-school kickoff for children and families alike and also provide wellness screenings for area residents of all ages.

The KEEP Healthy Event will provide health screenings, health information, a vendor fair, refreshments, games, prizes, free haircuts for boys and school supply giveaways while supplies last. The health screenings will include kidney screenings, blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests and BMI measurement sponsored by the National Kidney Foundation. Vision screenings, fitness screenings and many other services will also be offered.
