In the work we have done with Gori Julian over the years we have gained a broad understanding of Mesothelioma and the impact the disease has on its victims and their families. We appreciate Gori Julian's efforts to raise funds to benefit the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation and know Cycling for Meso will be a great event. We are happy to help!

Three different cycling paths are being offered, making the event open to beginning and expert cyclists. Familes and children are welcome. Sign-up online at Cyclingformeso.com

Cork Tree Creative Sponsors Economic Development Commision's 6th Annual Night with the EDC

By Laura Reed

Congressman John ShimkusA group of approximately 220 area business leaders from throughout the St. Louis region gathered at Gateway Center on Thurs., March 6, 2014 to celebrate the many successes of the Collinsville Economic Development Commission in its efforts to attract and retain business in the community. Congressman John Shimkus, a native of Collinsville, provided the crowd a brief update on discussions in Washington, D.C., and helped point out the many features of Collinsville that make it a great place to work and raise a family. Offering a mix of cocktails, live music and great networking, the Night with the EDC event was a hit.

Cork Tree Creative, Inc. was highlighted as one of the sponsors for the evening for providing in-kind services in the development of the event invitation, which was designed to look like a travel ticket, playing off the Collinsville Economic Development Department's "Destination Collinsville" brand. Cork Tree Creative also provided graphic design services in creating event signage, table markers and more. A website landing page for RSVPs was also created by Cork Tree Creative's web design team. A cohesive look brought the entire event together and fun was had by all.

New Website Design for Dr. Richard Novak Launched

By Laura Reed

Cork Tree Creative has been fortunate enough to work with Dr. Richard Novak of Maryville, Illinois for the past several years to enhance his marketing efforts and attract new customers to the growing practice. One of the first projects we completed for Dr. Novak was to design and develop a standard html website that served as a brochure-style website for him to use to introduce his practice to new clients and cross sell services to existing clients.

Realizing the potential a website offers a practice like his, Dr. Novak decided he wanted a freshened approach to his site so we did a complete web re-design and redeveloped the site as a content management website. This content management site offers Dr. Novak the opportunity to make his own website updates, gives him the opportunity to blog about his practice, incorporates video, cross sell his products and supplements and overall gives him a more powerful marketing tool to enhance his business. We are proud of the new site as well as its diversity of use and functionality and hope that Dr. Novak likes it too!
