Eason Announced as Webster University’s Outstanding Graduate

Alyssa Eason, a Social Media Specialist at Edwardsville-based marketing firm Cork Tree Creative, Inc., was recently awarded the prestigious Outstanding Graduate Award by Webster University. Eason was honored with this award for exhibiting all of the characteristics of an outstanding student including leadership, community involvement, balancing multiple commitments, and the motivation to succeed. She is only the second student to receive this award.

Eason gives some worthwhile advice to future students deciding on their degree: “Make sure you start by choosing the right program for you. If you don’t like your program, you won’t succeed. Second, make sure you can motivate yourself. You’ve got to be a self-starter and dedicate time to your classes.” View the entire interview by visiting the Webster University Online website
