Cork Tree Creative signs on as Mother Road Sponsor for Edwardsville Route 66 Festival

By Laura Reed

For the third year in a row, Cork Tree Creative, Inc., will serve as the Mother Road sponsor of the Route 66 Festival held each year in City Park in Edwardsville. But just because we hold the top billing spot as a sponsor, doesn't mean there's not room on the sponsor roster for many others. Edwardsville Parks & Recreation is now seeking sponsors for the 2014 festival to be held on June 13 & 14. Interested companies or individuals can contact Katie at Parks & Recreation at (618) 692-7538.car-illustration-for-facebook

Each year the festival offers great food, live music, the classic car cruise through town, the local talent show, local artists, children's activities, trolley rides, washer tournament and much more. On tap for this year's festival is a beer and wine garden and an opportunity for non-profit organizations to set up booths to share their organization and efforts with the crowd.

Drawing several thousand visitors each year, we know our headlining musical talent and activities will be the talk of the town again this year! Come join Cork Tree Creative and the rest of the midwest while we get our kicks on Route 66 at the Edwardsville Route 66 Festival. Cork Tree Creative Celebrates 5-Year Anniversary

By Laura Reed

Celebrating a 5 Year Anniversary in January of 2014, Cork Tree Creative was formed by two women that shared a love for what they do.Merging public relations with graphic design/website design talents as well as social media and SEO expertise, the firm was created so that all marketing services could be obtained by businesses large and small, under one roof. Considered by many clients as an extension of their staff, Cork Tree Creative is also very involved with the local community where they work and live.

To celebrate, the crew gathered at Flamingo Bowl on Washington Avenue in downtown St. Louis. Following in step with the traditional 5-year anniversary gift-theme of "wood," Cork Tree Creative had a ball bowling down wooden lanes, playing "steel from your neighbor" with wooden-themed gifts and and had a great night of laughs while wearing those cute borrowed shoes. Wood represents strength and a solidified, long-lasting relationship and we "wood"n't have it any other way. Congratulations to all of our team and a special thanks to our clients for helping us reach this milestone!
