Christner is a former Cork Tree Creative intern and graduate of Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Communication Studies and gained valuable experience through her academic and professional endeavors. Along with acquiring agency experience through internships in the St. Louis region, Christner also spent three years as a college journalist, giving her a unique understanding of the importance and role of news media and how to tell engaging stories.
